I also rented this the other day. As Elkat has already said
Quote:
I didn't like how
  • the bloodsuckers were repeatedly referred to as "oni", the fact that Saya never once mentioned the only way you can kill one of them is by shedding enough of their blood
  • the whole cliche ninja attack in the forest,
  • how cheesy the cgi for them look,
  • it does rip off a whole scene from Underworld: Evolution

If you can get past this it isn't too bad. I'm glad I rented this instead of buying it, but I don't regret renting this.

Now I don't know what times they will be showing it on the 11th but currently they are showing it at 16:40 and 21:00. I'm guessing 16:40 suits more people.

that good - Mhairi's birthday 12th just so you know Smile

16.40 good for me.

Firstly watch the anime movie (if you could call it that, it's only about 45mins long). Avoid the TV series as it goes in a different direction (the only positive thing to say about it).

The movie wil work well enough as a stand alone thing so i wouldn't worry about it.

I take it we're talking about the Reel at Crewe and not Cheshire Oaks.

Looks fine for me. Will just have to arrange to meet people @ the cinema or possibly at someone's house so I've got somewhere to park the car Smile
