Has anyone got this/played this yet. If so what do you think?

P.S. I enjoyed the free flash game.

Got it. Think... Neverwinter Nights on steroids with a surprisingly good story. Very challenging very tactics driven.

And an absolute MUST HAVE for rpg fans.
Very Happy

personally I would suggest the PS3 if you don't have a strong pc. (core 2 dou 2.4gz, geforce 8 series or better + 2gb of ram or more)

If you have that spec I'd recommend the PC version. The game itself is based more on story than anything else, which I absolutely love. The visauls are stunning but not as great as they could be. So visual gain in the PS3 vs PC is minimal.

My PC is
Windows 7 home premium 32 bit
Intel Pentium duel core E5300 (2.6 GHz)
3 GB ram
Geforce 9500 gt graphics card

(I know little about pc's and the whole graphics card thing is a mystery to me Confused but anyway) I'm guessing you suggest I go for the PC version?

(a yes or no to clarify I have understood would be greatly appreciated thanx)

And I love rpg's. The immersion into the world is everything (helped be a decent plot). It began with Zelda, it was brought to a whole other level by Morrowind ( I found oblivion a bit of a disappointment, a very shiny disappointment, but a disappointment none the less). The though of an rpg with greater plot (and consequences to your actions) is too much to resist.

Well I would suggest win7 Pro 64 bit
but yeah your PC meets specs to play Dragon Age Origins on Full Graphics no problem. So go PC I'd say.

So good I have barely been on-line recently. It is truly immersive, but is it slow going having to pause battles multiple times to direct your people (or maybe it is just me but I just can't get the combat tactics just right to let them do it all themselves Laughing )

I haven't played for a few days now. I'm almost afraid to start playing again as it just sucked up all of my free time (and the rest of my time come to think of it Laughing ). I'm going to have to set aside Sunday for it.

For those of us who have/are playing it, what sort of character are you?

I went for a male elf mage. I like the destructive powers I had later on but to begin with you are just pathetically weak. I opted to be anti templars and did what ever was needed to get the best help against the blight.

I'm really torn. I kinda want to play again as the same character but to make different choices (mage is great, and as an elf you can get offended easily and be nasty in response) Confused Neutral

I just got this game recently, and I've been completely addicted to it! I love it, currently playing as a human noble rouge.
